...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GARDEN AND WESTERN DEUEL COUNTIES
THROUGH 800 PM MDT...

At 719 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge to
9 miles west of Lisco to near Gurley to near Peetz. Movement was east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oshkosh, Lisco, Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Richardson
Lake, Mumper, Rackett, Mount Vernon, Dogtown Flats, Deer Lake, Adams
Flats, and Sugar Loaf Hill.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 78 and
83.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
