...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RED WILLOW COUNTY
THROUGH 400 PM CDT...

At 341 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southwest of Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area, or
18 miles northeast of McCook, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Red
Willow County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
