This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty southwesterly winds will create very high grassland fire
danger today generally along and south of US 56 this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Friday evening, there is a chance for a light rain snow mix in far
southeastern Kansas. No accumulation is expected.

Saturday, gusty north winds will create very high fire danger again.
This very high fire danger will generally be along and north of US
400.

Sunday through Monday, gusty winds will again create a very high
fire danger over most of the region. Additionally, Monday there will
be a chance for thunderstorms over much of southeast Kansas. There
is the chance for an isolated severe thunderstorm Monday afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday there is a chance for some light snow over
parts of southeast Kansas. No accumulation is expected.
