SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

TODAY...HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL WITH HEAT INDICES
RANGING FROM 100 TO 107. A HEAT ADVISORY AND EXCESSIVE HEAT
WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA. WITH THE
PROLONGED HEAT EXPECTED...REMEMBER TO NEVER LEAVE PASSENGERS
BEHIND IN PARKED VEHICLES...AVOID STRENUOUS OUTDOOR
ACTIVITIES...AND STAY HYDRATED!

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

HOT AND HUMID WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE REGION THROUGH
SATURDAY. IN PARTICULAR...THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
LOOKS TO BE WHEN THE WORST HEAT WILL DEVELOP...WITH WIDESPREAD
HEAT INDICES RANGING FROM 105 TO NEAR 110. OTHERWISE...HEAT
INDICES FROM 101 TO 107 WILL BE POSSIBLE ON FRIDAY ACROSS MUCH OF
THE AREA. BY SATURDAY...HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO 105 WILL BE
POSSIBLE ONCE AGAIN PRIMARILY ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS. WITH THE
PROLONGED HEAT EXPECTED...REMEMBER TO NEVER LEAVE PASSENGERS
BEHIND IN PARKED VEHICLES...AVOID STRENUOUS OUTDOOR
