This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Heat indices will hover around 105 degrees across the area through
early this evening. Please refer to the Excessive Heat Warning for
further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Intense heat is expected to persist across the area through
Saturday. Heat indices around 105 degrees to as high as 109 can be
expected each afternoon through the early evening. Please refer to
the Excessive Heat Warning for further details.

Some heat relief is expected late in the weekend as a cold front
moves slowly south across Kansas. Periodic chances for thunderstorms
can be expected from Saturday afternoon through Tuesday. A few
strong to marginally severe storms and some with locally heavy
rainfall will be possible Saturday evening through Sunday evening.
