...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL SIMPSON...WEST
CENTRAL ALLEN AND SOUTH CENTRAL WARREN COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 508 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Memphis Junction, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Matlock, Alvaton, Hillsdale, Hardcastle, Allen Springs, Boyce,
Greenhill, and Drake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
