...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN SPENCER...NORTHEASTERN
NELSON...SOUTHWESTERN ANDERSON...NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON AND EAST
CENTRAL BULLITT COUNTIES...

At 517 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of
Taylorsville, moving east at 45 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Taylorsville, Mount Washington, Bloomfield, Wakefield, Ridgetop,
Highgrove, Solitude, Wayside, Hobbs and Smithville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
