...Light Snow Accumulations Possible Through This Evening...

Scattered snow showers will continue into this evening across
central Kentucky and southern Indiana. Air temperatures are
slightly cooler in the Bluegrass region, including the Lexington
Metro, allowing snow to stick more quickly. We have received
reports of multiple accidents on the Bluegrass Parkway in Anderson
County and New Circle Road in Fayette County. Use caution! Even a
light dusting will make the road slick and result in hazardous

The snow will be primarily light, but a brief burst of moderate
snow isn`t out of the question. An additional dusting is likely,
and localized accumulations up to a 1/2 inch are possible. Gusty
winds and any light to moderate snow shower will combine to reduce
visibility to less than 1 mile. Rapidly changing conditions over
short distances are likely. Use caution if traveling this evening.
