...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PORTAGE...
SOUTHEASTERN MARATHON...NORTHWESTERN WAUPACA AND WEST CENTRAL SHAWANO
COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM CDT...

At 238 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Bevent, or 13 miles north of Stevens Point, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Portage, southeastern Marathon, northwestern Waupaca and west central
Shawano Counties, including the following locations... Elderon, Pike
Lake, Polonia, North Star, Rosholt, Holt, Tigerton, Ellis, Northland,
and Nelsonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
