Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch ridge currently over Lake Superior will
give way this morning to a weak 29.7 inch clipper approaching from
the northwest. This clipper will pass southeast over the Upper
Great Lakes tonight. A 29.8 inch ridge will build in briefly on
Saturday while another clipper at 29.6 inches approaches from the
northwest Saturday night. This second clipper passes southeast
over the lake Sunday and Sunday night with a high pressure ridge
of 29.8 inches following for early next week.
