Past 24 hour precipitation...
Cold front crossing the region brought 0.50 to 1.00 inches of rain
to the region over the last 24 hours. The axis of heaviest precipitation
occurred over east central Ohio and the Muskingum basin with lesser amounts
elsewhere.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from a trace to 0.30 inches.

River trends...
Area rivers will continue to rise in response to recent rainfall over
the next 48 hours. Most points will crest within 1 to 3 feet of stages
this morning, with some action level reached on the Allegheny, Tuscarawas, and Muskingum.
