FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure of 30.3 inches extending from
James Bay to Ohio will move east today and tonight as it slowly
weakens. Low pressure of 29.3 inches will lift across the
Canadian Prairies to Hudson Bay by tonight. A trailing cold front
from this low will move across the lake late tonight. A second low
of 29.5 inches will deepen over the central Great Plains today and
move northeast to Lake Erie by Saturday afternoon. High pressure
of 30.3 inches will build across the Great Plains Sunday and shift
to the southeastern U.S. by Monday. Low pressure of 29.3 inches
will move from southern Saskatchewan Monday to Quebec Tuesday.

.SATURDAY...North winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 40 kt.
Rain likely in the morning...then chance of rain and snow in the

.SATURDAY NIGHT...North gales to 40 kt becoming northwest to 30
kt overnight. Chance of snow overnight. Waves 8 to 12 ft
