Weather Summary for Western and North Central New York
National Weather Service Buffalo NY
828 PM EDT WED MAY 18 2016

After a quiet and dry night tonight...a weak upper level low moving
from the Saint Lawrence Valley into northern New England will bring
a slight chance of showers and perhaps an isolated rumble of thunder
to the North Country Thursday afternoon. Elsewhere, expect fair
weather to prevail through the end of the week with a general
warming trend in temperatures as high pressure settles across the
region. Another low pressure system moving from the Lower
Mississippi Valley to the Mid-Atlantic states may bring a chance of
showers to the Southern Tier this weekend.
