Weather Summary for Western and North Central New York
National Weather Service Buffalo NY
408 PM EDT SAT MAY 21 2016

Showers associated with a slow moving area of low pressure to our
south will continue to impact areas south of the Thruway into the
evening hours before tapering off overnight. Another, less
extensive, round of showers will be possible on Sunday before the
low moves off to the east and warm and dry conditions develop Monday
as an upper level ridge moves into the Great Lakes. This spell of
dry and increasingly warm weather is expected to last through the
middle of the coming week before a more moist and unsettled airmass
arrives later in the week.
