...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN YORK...SOUTHEASTERN
CHEROKEE AND NORTHEASTERN UNION COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...
At 901 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Union, or near Jonesville, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jonesville, Lockhart, Hickory Grove, Adamsburg, Bullock Creek, and
Saratt.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
