Weather Summary for Western and North Central New York
National Weather Service Buffalo NY
1044 PM EDT Wed Jul 19 2017

In the wake of a weak frontal boundary, clear skies will prevail
this evening, with increasing clouds from the west late tonight and
into Thursday morning. A complex of thunderstorms containing very
heavy rain is currently expected to cross western New York Thursday
afternoon and evening, and has the potential to bring strong to
severe thunderstorms, along with heavy rain. After that, dry weather
will prevail on Friday before a frontal boundary sets up in the
vicinity of the lower Great Lakes, potentially bringing wet and
unsettled weather at times this weekend. Temperatures will remain
near average through the end of the week and this weekend.
