A slow moving upper level low pressure system will keep cool and
unsettled weather over eastern portions of the northern plains
today. Highs will be mainly in the 50s east to 60s west, but with
some upper 40s over northern Minnesota. Rain chances will remain
over the eastern Dakotas and most of Minnesota. Afternoon showers
and a few thunderstorms will push into eastern Montana and the
western Dakotas.

The cool and unsettled pattern will linger into Monday. A quick
warm-up and dry spell mid week will be followed by another period
of cooler and unsettled weather late in the work week and into
next weekend.
