Dangerous winter weather continues across much of the Northern
Plains today.

For today expect snow and blowing snow to continue across much of
the region, with the heaviest snow in northeastern North Dakota
and northern Minnesota. Northwest winds will continue to reduce
visibility across much of North Dakota. Expect hazardous travel
conditions.

Dangerously cold conditions are in the forecast. Highs will be in
the single digits and teens, with wind chill values as low as 30
below zero.

Extremely cold conditions will continue into Friday.
