...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DAWES COUNTY
THROUGH 1030 PM MDT...

At 943 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles northwest of Chadron Municipal Airport, or 16 miles northwest
of Chadron, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chadron, Chadron Municipal Airport, and Dawes County Fairgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
