Sustained west to northwest winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 55
mph will occur across the north Snowy Range Foothills including
the Interstate 80 corridor through Arlington and Elk Mountain late
this evening. These strong winds will produce areas of blowing and
drifting snow with visibilities between a quarter and half mile
at times. Motorists traveling along this stretch of Interstate 80
should be prepared for rapidly reduced visibility over short
distances and icy road surfaces.
