...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BOX BUTTE AND
SOUTHEASTERN DAWES COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM MDT...

At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles east of Box Butte Reservoir, or 18 miles south of Hay Springs,
moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Box
Butte and southeastern Dawes Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
