...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CARBON COUNTY
THROUGH 200 AM MDT...

At 1243 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Rawlins Municipal Airport
to 8 miles southeast of Savery. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Rawlins, Saratoga, Hanna, Encampment, Sinclair, Elk Mountain,
Riverside, Fort Steele Historic Site, Battle Lake, Six Mile
Campground, High Savery Reservoir, Haskins Creek Campground, Battle
Pass, Teton Reservoir, Shively Field, Corral Creek Campground,
Pickaroon Campground, Odd Fellows Campground, Platte River
Wilderness, and Dugway Campground.

This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 206 and
264.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
