...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN OWSLEY...BREATHITT
AND SOUTHEASTERN LEE COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 116 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Oakdale, or 7 miles west of Jackson, moving east
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Booneville, Simpson, Turin, Fillmore, Cowcreek, Grass,
Copebranch, Chestnut Gap, Noctor, Rock Lick, Vancleve, Moct,
Scoville, Wilhurst, Lerose, War Creek, Vada, Elkatawa, and Inverness.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
