FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

A high pressure ridge of 30.0 inches will move east across Lake
Michigan early this morning, quickly followed by the passage of a
low pressure trough around 29.7 inches late this afternoon and
early evening. Brisk westerly winds this morning will back to
southwesterly gales over the south half of the lake this afternoon
and early evening. A Gale Warning is in effect. The winds will
remain just under gale force in the north. Brisk west to northwest
winds will then prevail late tonight through Wednesday. The winds
may briefly approach gales. Much lighter winds are then expected
Wednesday night into Thursday and Thursday night as high pressure
approaches from the west.

.TONIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt. Chance of
rain. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding to 4 to
7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Chance of rain. Waves 5 to
8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Chance of rain in
