635 FZUS63 KMKX 281458 GLFLM OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 858 AM CST Fri Nov 28 2025 FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan. Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will occasionally be encountered. .SYNOPSIS... Winds will gradually diminish becoming light and variable today as high pressure around 30.5 inches begins to move across the area. Then the high will track over the lake tonight. Low pressure around 29.8 inches will then track from eastern Kansas Saturday morning to the southern tip of Lake Michigan Saturday night, and then reach Lake Huron by mid Sunday while deepening to around 29.7 inches. Widespread, moderate to heavy snow will overspread the south half of Lake Michigan. Brisk southeast winds Saturday will become easterly and then westerly as the low crosses the Great Lakes region. A period of west gales will be possible as the low departs the region on Sunday.
