FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Southerly winds taper off this evening as a low pressure system of
29.5 inches shifts into central Canada. This system will drag a
weak cold front across the lake tonight with both winds and waves
diminishing behind the front.

Southeast winds will pick up Sunday night into Monday ahead of a
stronger approaching low pressure system. The low of 29.4 inches
will move from South Dakota Sunday night to somewhere between
northwest Wisconsin and western Lake Superior Monday night, while
deepening to 29.1 inches. The winds will remain elevated and
become south to southwest later Monday into Monday night, and then
westerly by later Tuesday. Winds may gust to gale force at times
Monday through Tuesday night. Winds will be a little lighter
Wednesday, but will remain gusty and out of the west.

.TONIGHT...South winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt
late this evening, then becoming southwest 10 to 15 kt after
midnight becoming west late. Chance of showers. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SUNDAY...West winds 5 to 10 kt becoming southwest. Waves 1 to
3 ft subsiding to 1 to 2 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 kt becoming east late in
the evening, then increasing to 10 to 20 kt after midnight
becoming southeast late. Waves 1 ft or less building to 2 to
4 ft.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds to 30 kt. Showers likely in the
morning, then showers in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft building to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South gales to 35 kt becoming southwest to 30 kt.
Showers in the evening, then chance of showers overnight. Waves
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest gales to 35 kt. Chance of showers in the
morning, then showers likely in the afternoon. Waves 7 to 10 ft
occasionally to 13 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 kt. Chance of rain showers.
Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds to 30 kt. Chance of rain showers. Waves
5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.

.SUNDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 kt becoming northeast. Waves
1 to 2 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 kt increasing to 10 to 15 kt
late in the evening, then increasing to 10 to 20 kt after
midnight becoming southeast late. Chance of showers overnight.
Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 2 to 4 ft.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds to 30 kt becoming south gales to 35 kt.
Showers. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
