...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN LAUREL...SOUTH CENTRAL
JACKSON AND SOUTHEASTERN ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES...

At 333 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Luner, or 10
miles southeast of Mount Vernon, moving east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
London, Wood Creek Lake, Pittsburg, Annville, Mcwhorter, Lamero,
Atlanta, Settle Store, Mershons, Hazel Patch, Victory, Green Hill,
Camp Wildcat, Moores Creek, Royrader, East Bernstadt, Sand Hill,
Maplesville, Parrot and Hare.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
