...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LETCHER...
SOUTHEASTERN KNOTT AND SOUTHWESTERN PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM
EDT...

At 1252 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Southdown, or over Whitesburg, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Whitesburg, Jenkins, Fleming-Neon, Winters, Horn, Van, Colly, Isom,
Beefhide, Cromona, Trailer, Payne Gap, Colson, Sergent, Lester,
Democrat, Ermine, Lowndes, Neon Junction, and Whitco.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers 1 and 7.
 U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County near mile marker 0.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
