...Scattered to Numerous Snow Showers Late This Afternoon and

Behind an initial round of light snow showers, scattered to
numerous moderate to heavy snow showers are expected to develop
and move across the area late this afternoon and evening as
colder air invades the Commonwealth. The heaviest snow showers
will be capable of producing around a half of an inch of snow and
wind gusts up to 25 mph as they pass.

Rapidly changing visibilities over short distances are likely,
with visibility in some locations briefly falling below half of a
mile. Chances for light accumulations on a few roadways will
increase toward 5 PM and after as sunset approaches. Any
locations with a light coating of snow could experience slick
roadways, so use caution if traveling this afternoon and evening.
