...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT POWELL...SOUTHEASTERN
MONTGOMERY...SOUTHEASTERN BATH...ESTILL...MENIFEE...NORTH CENTRAL LEE
AND NORTHWESTERN WOLFE COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 113 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bowen, or near Stanton, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Stanton, Irvine, Frenchburg, Campton, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Clay
City, Ravenna, Campsites in the Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone
National Forrest, Pilot, Levee, Bowen, Cornwell, Leeco, Kimbrell,
Rothwell, Pine Ridge, Fagan, Wiseman Crossing Station, and Virden.

THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 12
and 47.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
