Clay City, Stanton, Frenchburg, Brodhead, Mount Vernon, McKee,
Annville, Burnside, Somerset, London, Monticello, Sandy Hook,
West Liberty, Paintsville, Campton, Salyersville, Beattyville,
Jackson, and Booneville

...Wintry Mix of Freezing Rain, Sleet, and Snow Tonight Through
Early on Tuesday...

A narrow band of wintry precipitation is expected to develop this
evening across central Kentucky and move southeast into the area
tonight, before tapering off on Monday morning. The area most
likely to be impacted is along and north of a line from Somerset
to London to Jackson to Paintsville.

This wintry mix could produce ice accumulations of a glaze to a
few hundredths of an inch, with combined sleet and snow
accumulations ranging from a dusting to a half inch. As
temperatures fall below freezing late tonight, some slick or icy
spots may develop, especially on untreated and secondary roads as
