.SHORT TERM...(Today Through Saturday Night)
Issued at 320 AM MDT Fri Mar 24 2017

Current surface map places deep low across southeast Colorado with
high pressure across the western Dakotas. Drier low levels
advecting southward across western South Dakota limiting northward
extent of precipitation across far northern Nebraska. Clouds
decreasing across northeast Wyoming and northwest South Dakota
has allowed some patchy fog to develop. For the rest of today,
upper low will move into central plains with northern Rockies
ridge shifting into the northern plains. Clouds will continue to
decrease from northwest to southeast through the day. Temperatures
near guidance.

Next upper trof in progressive flow moves across the Rockies on
Saturday with increasing southwest flow aloft. Will remain dry
through the day with warm temperatures. Widespread precipitation
expected Saturday night across the western half of forecast area.
Thermal profiles support rain/snow mix across northeast Wyoming
with snow in the higher elevations of the Black Hills.

.LONG TERM...(Sunday Through Thursday)
Issued at 320 AM MDT Fri Mar 24 2017

Upper trof quickly moves east on Sunday. Progressive flow
continues through the extended period with one dry day followed by chance
of precipitation the next. Temperatures mainly above average
through the period.

Local MVFR ceilings possible through early morning across the
Black Hills and along the Nebraska border. Patchy fog through
early morning will bring some local IFR/LIFR visibility to
northeast Wyoming into northwest South Dakota. Otherwise, VFR
conditions expected through tonight.
