786 FXUS62 KTBW 120013 AFDTBW Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Tampa Bay Ruskin FL 813 PM EDT Fri Jul 11 2025 ...New UPDATE, AVIATION... .UPDATE... Issued at 758 PM EDT Fri Jul 11 2025 A fairly active afternoon and evening across our CWA. Slow moving storms with deep cores developed inland and in SW portions of the state. Convection has died down for the most part with only a few storms left. Overnight conditions should be calm with plenty of moisture in place making conditions feel very muggy. On Saturday, similar conditions are anticipated with pockets of slightly drier air filtering in across the peninsula. Moisture is expected to increase through the afternoon and that is when storms should begin to develop. Light flow remains and additional training is anticipated. No changes were made to the forecast as it remains on track. && .AVIATION... (00Z TAFS) Issued at 758 PM EDT Fri Jul 11 2025 A few showers and storms are still present over interior locations with VFR conditions, light and variable winds prevailing overnight. Some of the guidance suggests that there could be some activity near the coast near midday, however, confidence is not high enough to add it to the forecast at this time. Most of the activity should develop later in the afternoon and evening hours over the interior and SWFL. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
